“Aaaahhh…… I’m done…… I’m so tired I could die……!”
Around midnight, after finishing a brutal round of overtime, I was walking near my apartment.
Lately, my manager work had been way too busy…… Handling dozens of talents all by myself wasn’t something anyone could do easily.
Somehow, I even felt nostalgic for the days when I was stuck to Ai-chan alone…… Looking back now, those days were actually pretty easy. Well, at the time, I was desperate enough to not notice it.
While thinking about that, I arrived in front of my place. A completely ordinary 3DK apartment, nothing special about it.
Relief washed over me, and I let out a sigh. I took out my key and opened the front door.
“Welcome home, darling! Good work today!”
The living room door opened, and a woman came running toward me.
“Ai-chan! You were still awake at this hour? I sent you a message saying I’d be late……”
“I saw it, but of course I’d wait for you. Going to bed first would be heartless.”
She flashed me a bright, innocent smile. Uh-oh. Too cute. An angel? No—right, she was my wife.

“Ah, wait a second! Before that, could you come over here for a bit?”

Ai-chan pulled me along toward the living room. She sat down on the sofa and gently patted her lap.
“Hey, Kanata. Lie down here. I’ll give you a lap pillow~”

“Because you’re always working so hard. I want to heal you properly. And besides, it’s been a while since we did this!”
Saying that, Ai-chan took something out. A small scoop-shaped tool…… an ear pick.
“You like ear cleaning, right, Kanata? Today I’ll do it for you, so don’t hold back—just relax and let me spoil you.”
“A-Ai-chan……! Thank you……”
Her thoughtfulness seeped straight into my exhausted heart. And just like she said, having my ears cleaned while listening up close to my favorite voice actress’s soothing voice was the ultimate happiness……!

“Yep, leave it to me! I’ll make sure to heal you lots!”
I lay down with my head resting on her thighs. Though slender, they were pleasantly soft and firm, already soaking away my fatigue.

After murmuring softly, Ai-chan slowly began cleaning my ears.

With gentle, careful movements, she guided the ear pick, making soft scraping sounds. A shiver of pleasure ran up my spine, and a breath slipped from my lips.

She asked in a sweet, melting voice. Her whisper brushed my ears, and all I could manage was a faint, “Yeah……”
“I’m glad…… Then I’ll make it feel even better…… okay?”
Saying so quietly in her soothing voice, Ai-chan resumed the ear cleaning. The soft scraping and rustling echoed comfortably deep in my ears.
Her gentle hands—and her warm thighs—felt almost filled with motherly affection.
Ah…… I must be living for moments like this…… No, maybe it’s more accurate to say I was born for this very moment. Wrapped in this overwhelming sense of maternal warmth, I was being reborn right now……
“Okay, all done. Then let’s do the other side too, alright?”
“Y-Yes……”
As instructed, I turned my face the other way—toward Ai-chan.
